Yocan Uni Pro

Hi, I'm only posting that thread for a Yocan product to share how much I like their products. Especially the Uni Pro which becomes my daily driver for cart/coil vaping. It's a sort of mini mod box for cart mainly with different features to adapt different cart brands and size, you can set up and down your cart and the wide carts, here my 2 units, the blue have a Yocan wax atty for the Uni Pro (quartz single coil) and the black have a Ccell 1/2gr cart in (loaded with some homemade bho).

Most of this tiny battery for carts have a few settings at best, here you get full voltage adjustment (2.0v to 4.2v) by 0.1V increment. On the pic above you can see the slider which offer 3 heigth positions (as you can see the Ccell is set at max t and wax cart set at mini ). The Uni Pro can fit very large carts under 1.5cm wide and there is a ring to adapt different carts wides. Here a pic with a large XL Trinity tank by W9:

XL TT out...
... and in (front view!)

I have to mention the oled screen shows the battery status, voltage, resistance and hit duration. The cart is threaded in a magnetic adapter before to be inserted in the device, keep that contacts very clean for a good resistance reading and don't loose the magnetic adapter (Yocan sell them). There is a pre-heat feature which is nice for low temp hits (this is a @Shit Snacks trick!). Here a last pic with a Liberty V9 cart inserted:

That's a very nice small and easily concealable device, personnaly I'm not a fan of carts cause I don't have access to high purity concentrates and generally have to trash my carts after a single load, not really environmentally friendly so I recently bought a 5 pack of wax atty for the Uni Pro/Hive which is only a single quartz coil... but I personnaly enjoy that quartz coils Yocan use, they are cheap, cleanable and effective. Here a link Yocan UNI Pro Vape Box Mod Battery for Sale - Yocan® Official Store

Before I begun to work for TopGreen I received the 2 units in the pictures and I failed to post about it before, so here my contribution to the NewFC forum and Yocan Vaporizer Company. Thanks for looking!

The UNI Pro is my go-to battery for oil carts. It’s a little larger than their others like the Groote and Wit, but well worth it for the true resistance based variable voltage and battery level indicator. Once in a blue moon I’ll grab the Groote if I really want the smallest form factor, otherwise UNI Pro sees 99% of my oil cart usage. I truly feel a great oil cartridge is the ideal vaporizer for microdosing, and a low voltage mod like this is key for getting the most life out of those cartridges.

@CybrGuy ;)

It is a very nice battery to be sure, I don't use it so much since I prefer a smaller size batt myself (cartridges are my super stealth option and simple grab n go portable, not using them at all lately!)

I like the flexibility of it. It looks a little bigger than I would like but still small enough to palm. And I can get it and an extra magnet for under $30 delivered. If only carts here didn't still start around $70...

Mine came today. I was a little afraid it was gonna be bigger than it actually turned out to be. :)

I ordered an extra magnetic adapter for it but I appear to have ordered the wrong one. It is a ring with no magnet.

Now I have to get a cart to try this baby out.

Oh yeah the ring works work the Yocan Witt and Groote, I guess you'll have to get one of those too!

I wonder if the magnets from the Flick and the Hive are compatible, and the concentrate sleeves might work, too? Asking for someone who has far too many gadgets...

Here is the tall one that comes with the Uni Pro. I have seen something very similar used by other vendors.

The gold one on the right is what I accidentally ordered along with the Uni Pro. I meant to get the other one that is magnetic. The folks at nextdayvapes.com insist that the ring adapter would work, but it wasn't what I was after. Much shorter as you can see, and only 2 cutouts rather than 4...

Yes I said before the rings go for a different type of magnetic connection, I guess where the magnet is in the vape, like the Witt and Groote and Handy... that specific one in the picture actually might look more like the one that goes with the v-mod made by a different company...

It was one of the 2 adapter options on the page where I bought the YUP. If it really isn't meant for that device it is a little disappointing that they offer it. They did credit me for the $3 when I ordered a 3 pak of the tall one.

I ordered one of Yocan UNI Thick Oil VV Mini Mod yesterday. I received notice of mailing today. I need this. My life is going to change for the better. I'm going to lose weight and get a face-lift. I'll get the body of an athlete, but be forced to give it back. Somehow money will flow into my coffers. I'll finally find "True Love" and live happily ever after. Wish me luck!

I was tempted to save a couple bucks and go for that one but went with the newer version. If you really find "true love" after getting that one let us know. I can always use a backup...

I'm happy with UNI I got: not digital and only 3 heat settings. Being a Gadget Guy, sure, I miss not seeing actual temp, but I tend to be on the weak side of settings, anyway. I can't imagine using the highest setting, but we'll (the Imperial "We") have to see.

Thats the nice thing about the IMO Pro is you can set it lower than most of the other ones.

I really like it. Comfortable to hold, quick to respond and surprisingly reasonable. I don't use it that much and usually only a hit or 2 or 3 at a time but I take it with out of the house when I can't easily do flower. I have it set at 275° for the LLR I have loaded.

I'll probably use it more after the local prices start to come down.
